Principal Sponsor of the UK’s top professional Ice Hockey League

5 minutes on the phone with ... Les Hare, Chairman of North Ferriby United

How’s life at the Rapid Solicitors stadium under new management?
It’s going really well. Three home games, 3 wins and 12 goals speaks for itself. But more importantly, confidence is pouring back into the players and a solid platform is being created that should enable the club to start climbing up the table again.
How is the new, proposed Dean Windass Centre progressing?
Plans for the complete refurbishment of the Dean Windass Centre with a state of the art 3G pitch are moving ahead at pace and subject to grant approval, will be going ahead early in the new year.
What would you consider to be The Villagers’ best achievement, Les?
The club has a long and highly respected history including a Wembley visit in the FA Vase final in 1997, but reaching the Northern Premier League play-offs in three out of the last five years is a massive achievement, typifying the club‘s motto of 'Pride, Passion & Belief'.
Rapid Solicitors continues to back North Ferriby United. What’s the situation regarding other sponsors?
In one of the worst economic periods of recent times, the club is struggling desperately to replace lost income from cancelled sponsorship arrangements. In the circumstances, anyone who would be interested in helping 'The Villagers' secure the future of the club is urged to contact me, Club Chairman Les Hare.
How are the youngsters getting on at the Club?
North Ferriby United has just become the first ever non-league club to represent the East Riding in the first round proper of the FA Youth cup and face Crewe Alexandra at the Rapid Solictors Stadium on Tuesday 1 November. The kick off time is 7.15pm.
