Tie-break success for rising local tennis star

The inaugural tennis tournament at the recently renamed Rapid Tennis Centre saw success for local rising star Joshua Lazenby, who is personally sponsored by Law Firm, Rapid Solicitors.
In the Boys Under 12 Northern Finals, Joshua of Beverley beat Cameron Kerr of Scotland 2-6, 6-4, 12-10 in the final.
Joshua, who trains at the Rapid Tennis Centre under the guidance of the Lawn Tennis Association’s Richard Crabtree is ranked number 4 in Yorkshire and 12th in the country for 11yrs and under.
Andrew Good of Rapid Solicitors, sponsor of the Tennis Centre, commented, “We at Rapid are big supporters of grass roots sports, so It’s fantastic to see Josh doing so well. It’s entirely possible that he’ll make it all the way to the Wimbledon Championships, one day.”
